Barpathar College is one of the few premier institutions
of Dhansiri Sub-Division of Golaghat District. Established in
the year 1987, at the heart of Barpathar town, it symbolises
those noble aspirations of the enlightened spirits who felt the
necessity of an institution of higher education in the Barpathar
Mouza, which was already rich in agricultural economy.

The College offers Bachelors degree of Arts under
Dibrugarh University. From the day of its inception, the college
strives to shape education as a weapon of change, hope and
future. It tries to enrich the young minds through promoting
quality education, so that, they may serve this country as well as humanity at large.
